This year I received two rounds of go-karting at Alamo Karts and a 13" metal working lathe for my birthday! If you look closely you can see the lathe has the old style tool holder.
In order to use this handy quick tool changer, I had to make a custom bolt to fit my lathe. This was my first project and also the first time I have cut a screw thread using a lathe. The technique I used can be seen HERE
